Warning: These leggings will scare and confuse the average human.

A/N: I noticed that you can’t really see the headband in this shot, I’ll re-update this post with a pic of it later. It’s that awesome.

So today I wore one of my fashion terrorist items: legwarmers. I always get weird looks for wearing these out and I can’t understand why, they’re so functional!

I mean let’s say you’re wearing leggings with low cut Uggs, what’s going to stop COLD wind from just breezing into your boots?! WE LIVE IN CANADA! I have earned the right to wear them! *ahem*

Not to mention these have a fairisle pattern. How cute is that!

This weekend I finally bought the Metro Chic nail polish every beauty blogger has been raving about (e.g. lollipop26, fafinettex3). And I have to admit, it’s an amazing colour. Really unique, I haven’t seen anything like it, it can look purple, brown or gray under different lighting.

I also managed to pick up this TNA sweater… I think it may have been an impulse buy.

Halloween 2009

Posted in Random by Jae on November 2, 2009

So every year for pretty much my entire life I have wanted to dress up as something for Halloween, except I never have.

It’s usually because I don’t have time or I could spend time better elsewhere. So I apologize but this will not be a post about my Halloween costume. Although I really wanted to dress up as Itachi this year.

I’m usually in awe over the elaborate costumes people make for Halloween. I’ve seen some really great ones, for example:

WonderWoman

This is my roommate as WonderWoman I can’t get that picture of Sohee out of my head. Believe it or not her entire costume was made from scratch. Now that is an awesome costume!

As you can see there are many great costume ideas out there so I don’t understand why I continue to see the plethora of naughty schoolgirls and nurses every year. Is Halloween an excuse for closet sluts to reveal themselves without being called out on it? Because to be honest it is degrading for the rest of us.

In true Waterloo fashion, Fridays started off with rain… hence the rainboots.

For those who know me, I’m very anti-colour… I usually only wear black, white and their variations. (Don’t judge me, there are so many different grays out there.)

But every once in a while I’m buy something in a bright colour. These boots were one example.

DayRaincoat: Lacoste, Black skinnies: Urban Outfitters, Rainboots: Zara, Scarf: Gift from my friend Krishna!

I really apologize for the poor lighting and quality, I took a closeup of the jacket just in case.

Had to head home today for my brother’s commencement. Same outfit just different accessories:

NightTank: Jacob, Scarf: Jacob, Black Skinnies: Urban Outfitter, Studded Clutch: Costa Blanca… and no, I did not wear my flip flops out.

Here’s a closeup of the clutch which I absolutely ADORE!!

True Story: I did not end up wearing these outfits during the day or night. I spilled foundation over my pants after I took these photos. -____-

Had a midterm to write today. Legit excuse to wear yoga pants to school. Like I need an excuse.

Because let’s be honest, no one actually does yoga in these.

P.S. Sorry about the crap lighting.

My hair was a total mess today. Do you ever get days when your bangs act like the end of a broomstick?

It is unlikely that picture quality will improve. And yes, that frown is a staple in my wardrobe.
