Items in this set:
Current/Elliott The Skinny Jean, $216
  • I tried these on during the 25th Aritzia anniversary sale and had been lemming for them for a while. But they only had a size 25, and I just thought they were way too tight. The wash was also not what I was expected… I was hoping for a darker more solid wash.. *sigh* The search continues…

HAWKS By Geren Ford Pocket Poof Skirt, $68

  • I love these tulip skirts, they’re comfy AND they have pockets. SOLD.
Jeffrey Campbell All Lace Up Combat Boots, $220
  • I used to look at these with a (o___O) expression but now I absolutely love these. Totally chic with distressed skinnies.
Deux Lux Tassel Bucket Bag, $68
  • Ever since the Alexander Wang Diego bag came out I’ve been searching for the perfect bucket bag… this comes close. Must see in person though.
Elizabeth and James Arrow Ring, $195
  • Gotta hand it to the Olsens for making totally awesome accessories.

Wishlisted: CC Skye

Posted in Shopping by Jae on December 21, 2009

NTS: Do not visit the CC Skye site during exam time.

You will be overwhelmed by lemmings. >.<

I mean, what CC Skye discussion would be complete without the Rihanna necklace. This thing is a work of art. A lot of people might think this piece is too over the top but I don’t think this piece is meant to be a “glam” piece. It would probably look best dressed down with a leather jacket and some ripped jeans.

And the angel wing obsession continues…

It’s a shame I can’t get a picture of this in silver… It does exist but I just can’t find a picture of it on the CC Skye website. I think it would be stunning in silver. HEART.

It’s like they read my mind over there or something and made a ring out of that awesome idea. I’m obsessed with two-fingered rings… and while this one isn’t exactly two-fingered, it gives the illusion that it is =P

This is probably more functional too, you can’t exactly type or write or do anything when you wear the two-fingered ones.

I believe this is the original wing necklace. It was spotted on Nicole Richie WAYY back and looks so fab.

This also comes in a ring form here.

This bracelet comes in every colour you’d probably want to wear. But I think it looks best in Chocolate or Gunmental (as shown). Pretty cool stuff.

And it comes with silver screws, which I much prefer:

I’m pretty sure I’m in love with gunmetal.

I don’t know where, or when, or how I’d wear this, but doesn’t it just look cool? Good enough for me.

So cute.

I have this strange relationship with cuffs. I love them and buy them all the time, but I almost never wear them because I need to write or type all the time and end up taking them off during the day. =(

It should really stop me from buying them but that would make me sensible and that wouldn’t make sense.

This cuff definitely reminds me of the Hermès Collier de Chien cuffs, but this one is much more affordable–relatively speaking of course.

I think this would be a summer-only piece for me because I don’t know if I’d wear this anywhere but on my upper arm. But I think it’d look awesome with a white tank and some skinnies. And I love my feathers.

And if my ears would stay pierced then I think they’d want to be wearing these. *deep sigh*

Wishlisted: House of Harlow 1960 – New Collection Pics

Posted in Shopping by Jae on November 28, 2009

Seriously Nicole Richie can do no wrong.

I’m an avid fan of her jewellery collection and can’t wait for her Winter Kate Collection to drop Spring 2010.

Here are some of her new fab pieces available January of next year:

This ring had me drooling at the mouth… if only it was a two-fingered ring. That would’ve been perfect. Also if it came in silver, and rose gold. *dies*

This bangle really caught my eye. Stunning. But she should really give all of her wonderful bangles a clasp so we have the option of wearing them past our elbow.

So cute, I’m a sucker for this old-fashioned stuff.

The wax seal accent just kills me. Also comes in red for those who want to be historically correct.

Seriously, fabulous. This would look awesome with a cuffed blazer and skinnies.

I can’t wait to see this necklace in person. I hope the scale of this pendant isn’t too large… it does say mini afterall… sometimes I find her pendants and rings too big. They would look more delicate if they were smaller.

More key-inspired jewellery. I love it. I have yet to find the perfect key necklace. I think the Tiffany ones are really amazing.. but I find them too clean-cut for me… I’m in the search for something a little more rustic… with a vintage feel…

This is the holy grail. I’ve been lemming for this since her collection came out… Seriously amazing… So… grecian. But at $500 I honestly can’t justify it.

Betsey Johnson Sequin Stripe Dress

Posted in Shopping by Jae on November 21, 2009

I’m not usually impressed with Betsey Johnson’s line of clothing or accessories… they’re usually too colourful or gaudy for me…

But this one completely stunned me.

Straight out of a modern day fairy tale.

Absolutely gorgeous. DIES

By this picture I’m already thinking of ways I can sell myself.

Then I realized I don’t have anywhere to really wear this to…But that’s okay, I can wear it to sleep… or whatever.

Gorgeous. If you have $398USD. This is “wear” it should be going.
